Gas Up 5th October 2019

M.D.T.E.M.G. held their annual gas up on Saturday 5th October at Morchard Road by kind permission of the Bruce family.
The day dawned fine with a weather forecast of rain later in the day. Members gathered with their exhibits of tractors, stationary engines and industrial machines. This annual event involves a local tractor run of approximately 8 miles, an auto jumble (to enable members to share, barter, sell/purchase various spare parts with their fellow members), a working demonstration of stationary engines and equipment plus excellent refreshments.
The day was successful with welcome participation from members which we hope to repeat in 2020.
