Club Night Talk (Andrew Symons) March 21st 2018

On 21 March 2018, Andrew and Lisa Symons gave an illustrated presentation to the club describing the origins, development and current state of their business, ‘Andrew Symons Agricultural Engineers‘. Starting as literally one man and a van, the firm has now evolved to the point of having three sales and service centres at Holsworthy (the original one), South Molton and, most recently, Crediton, where the brand new facility was opened in June 2017.
In total, more then 40 staff are employed, covering sales, service, administration and finance. As well as being main dealers for New Holland tractors and machinery, a wide range of other brands are available for both agriculture and horticulture.
At the conclusion of their very well-received presentation, Andrew and Lisa handed out ‘goodies bags’ to all those there – as the picture demonstrates!
